Take a look at this 1965 Ford Thunderbird
Convertible Roadster. This car is gorgeous. Is in an original Florida car
and has perfect, glossy black paint with great chrome. Its top and window
are flawless, as are the Kelsey-Hayes chrome spoked wheels. Tires are in
good to excellent condition. The car has 31,000 miles on it, but I don't
know that for sure as it says exempt on the Florida title. It runs like it
though and there is no smoking of the engine. It runs very smooth. The
interior is also in excellent condition. It has an am/fm/8-track that
works fine with an automatic antenna (works too).
The top works as I had a mechanic who specializes in Ford convertibles go
through it. He changed out a bad solenoid and changed the hydraulic fluid
in the system. The car has a good working air conditioner (Rare) and
electric windows and seats that work. Remote mirror works and so does the
sliding steering wheel. The engine is the 390 V8 four barrel with an
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and dual exhaust.
Nice chrome tips on the exhaust extensions as well.
This is a beautiful Thunderbird. It is currently stored in a heated and
air conditioned garage at my home west of Chicago. I am glad to answer any
questions at mbbriggs@ix.netcom.com before you bid. Please only bid if you
can meet the following criteria: I need a 20% non-refundable deposit 3
days after the auction with full payment in 10 days. Payment can be made
in cashiers check or MO. I also take PayPal. The car must be picked up
within 30 days unless other arrangements are made. Transport is the
buyer's responsibility. If you'd like to look at the car, we can make
arrangements to do so. I am hesitant to go for test-drives as there is
still a bunch of salt on our roads here from this very long winter. If you
are very serious and need a drive, arrangements could be made. I am sure
it would drive to where ever you may live, but not good to drive on all
these salty Midwest roads. The car came from Florida and is in excellent
condition. Please keep it that way should you purchase it. I have several
other cars available on my website at www.vanishingspecies.com. Thanks for
bidding and look at my other auctions.
