car came so close to making the reserve, I thought I would run it again to
give bidders another chance to owe an absolutely gorgeous, original, never
wrecked 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. This car is in great mechanical
shape, but could use a paint job. It has the 390 engine, power brakes and
steering, power windows, power driver's seat, hard-to-find reclining
passenger's seat with headrest, and factory air conditioning. The original
radio has been replaced with a modern T-Bird AM/FM Tape unit, but the rest
of the interior is original. The top works fine (one relay was replaced)
and the car has been serviced recently. This car has a matching number
drive train and is really a great driving car. It has the Swing-Away
Steering Wheel and the sequential turn signals, which really set the car
off in traffic.
Our local body shop would be willing to paint the car in its original
color for $1,600 complete should you desire to get it painted
professionally before it is shipped. That price will cover all blocking
and sanding, as well as a quality two-stage paint job.
Payment is due at the end of the auction by wire transfer or cashier's
check. Please don't hesitate to ask questions because you will be expected
to complete the purchase of this car if you are lucky enough to be the
successful bidder. Even though the car is in great condition, it is sold
AS IS with no warranties either expressed or implied. Bid strong and you
can own it. Economical shipping is available worldwide. Thanks for
looking. Please look at my feedback and bid with confidence.
