There is really no great story about the car, other than its'
ownership is a life long dream. My Tbird was built 03/18/65 and delivered
to a dealership in Indianapolis. As far as I know, it's owners moved to
Florida where the car remained as a daily driver and was sold after their death.
Mileage is a bit of a mystery with 4500 miles registering and still turning.
Overall, the car is in solid mechanical shape with a few predictable "Tbird"
quirks such as electrical and overheating. But nothing major that would prevent
using it as a daily driver. Cosmetically, the car is in exceptional
condition. Recently had the front seats recovered, the door panels
replaced, the carpet replaced and the rear panels dyed to cover sun damage.
A few more small things left to do. Thanks for your great site dedicated
to the '65 and I'll be looking forward to seeing my Brittany Blue Convertible
right up there with all the other great 1965s.
