I found this T-bird at an antique auto show/flea market in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.  It had two previous owners.  The original owner drove it 43,000 miles from 1965 to 1980.  The fellow who bought it in 1980 drove it only 7,000 miles in 20 years.  So it had 50,000 documented miles when I bought it on July 3, 2000. 

The car is 95% original.  The engine and compartment did need cleaning and repainting so I took off all the peripheral components and detailed everything. 

The car runs great and has such a sixties "swank" appeal.  I had actually been looking for a 1960-63 Cadillac Coupe Deville, again for the "swank" appeal.  But when I saw the T-bird I could not resist and still have NO regrets.
