Steve Town, of Ontario, Canada, has photographed a bunch of '65s (and some other years too) and sent me these pictures. 

Steve is the past President of the SOUTHERN  ONTARIO  THUNDERBIRD CLUB which, evidently, is Canada's largest thunderbird club.  PLEASE check out there site, it's a good one.  Here's the link: http://www.geocities.com/d_erhard_tbird68/sotcpg2.html
