I bought it restored. I've always loved the 65 for some unknown reason, but have never been one to take on a restoration project. So I saved up my spare change over the last several years and bought the car of my dreams.

Last month we entered the car in a Regional VTCI show and took home a first place. The picture shows my wife and I dressed up in our new 65 period clothes standing next to our new 65 Hardtop.

Note: The show was hosted by the Chicagoland Thunderbirds and took
place in Elgin, IL on September 13-16th.  This was the VTCI North
Central Regional event.  We had over 80 entries from all over the region
and even from Canada.
